Values
The Farmington Bank Community Foundation is committed to working towards its mission with the following core values in mind:
- Prioritizing funding for nonprofits with deep roots in the local communities we serve.
- Minimizing the administrative burden placed on grantees through our grantmaking.
- Remaining transparent and accessible to nonprofits and the communities we serve.
- Providing support beyond our grantmaking as needed, including thought partnership and connections
- Recognizing that the disparities we seek to address are often felt most acutely by people of color as the result of decades of systemic factors, many of which are still woven into the fabric of our institutions today.
