The Farmington Bank Community Foundation is an independent, private foundation that grants to nonprofit organizations working to address community needs in 16 Central Connecticut communities: Avon, Berlin, Bloomfield, Bristol, Burlington, Canton, Farmington, Hartford, Newington, New Britain, Plainville, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, Southington, West Hartford and Wethersfield.
A legacy of Farmington Bank, the foundation continues the banks almost 200 year history of supporting local nonprofit organizations that impact the quality of life of residents. Its grantmaking is focused on economic empowerment, health and basic human needs, with an emphasis on support to low-to- moderate income individuals and families.
